Adela (Rodriguez) Luster, 91, of Moundsville, W.Va., passed away Monday, July 27, 2015, at her home.
Adela was born January 1, 1924 in Terre Haute, Ind., a daughter of the late Constantine and Maria (Gonzales) Rodriguez. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Moundsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Luster, in 2014; four brothers, Henry, Joseph, Larry and Manuel “Hank” Rodriguez; and two sisters, Celia Rodriguez-Busto and Ramona Rodriguez-High.
Adela is survived by her daughter, Maryann (Milton) Luster-Shaner of Moundsville; a sister, Mary Zatezalo of Moundsville; three sisters-in-law, Bernadine Rodriguez of Moundsville, Teresa (Richard) Tribett of Las Vegas, Nev. and Bernadette Garcia of Burke, Va.; two grandchildren, Madison A. Shaner and Miranda A. Shaner, both of Moundsville; several loving and caring nieces and nephews; and close friends, Anetta Ewing and Teri Yoho, both of Moundsville, and Sandra Cypher of Canonsburg, Pa.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm, Wednesday, at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am, Thursday, July 30, 2015, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Moundsville, with the Rev. That Son Ngoc Nguyen as celebrant. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Moundsville.

What a personality she had. She was one of those patients that touched your heart and soul and you will never forget. How precious she was. Deepest heart felt sympathy to you and your family.
