Albert F. Estep, 83 of St. Joseph Settlement, Proctor, WV died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016 in Genesis Health Care Center, New Martinsville, WV.  He was born October 10, 1932 in Proctor, a son of the late Frank J. Estep and Nettie H. (Herrick) Estep.  Albert was a retired Well Tender with Columbia Gas Company and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph Settlement, a veteran of the US Army Korean War, a member of the American Legion Post 28, New Martinsville, VFW Post 437 and Eagles Arie 499 both of Moundsville, WV.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Anna-Marie Estep and two nephews, John and James Flood.  Surviving are two nieces, Theresa A. Veltri and husband Joseph, Jr. of New Cumberland, WV, Julia L. Lewis and husband Kevin of Finley, OH; great nephews, Robbie Veltri and Andrew Lewis; 2 sisters, Margaret Flood of Parkersburg, WV and Bertha Schrader of Paden City, WV.  Friends will be received Friday, September 16, 2016 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, WV where a rosary service will be held at 7:00 pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday, Sept. 17, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph Settlement with Rev. Sravan Kumar Reddimaso as celebrant.  Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery. So sorry to hear of Albert’s passing. He and my dad (Bud Woodruff) worked together and were friends for many years. He will be missed.

Albert was a great friend and we are so sad to hear of his passing but I’m sure he will rest in peace with his wonderful wife Ann now. Our prayers are with the rest of his family and friends who will miss him greatly.

Albert and my dad worked together for many years. He and Ann where good friends and good people. They will be missed by his church family and myself.
