It is with deep saddness to hear of the passing of Alma, she was such a lovely lady that lit up a room with her laughter. I really miss taking her goodies and hearing her laugh. Our sympathy to all of her family, we at BJHCC will miss her dearly.

We got to spend a good deal of time with “Alma” the last 4 plus years at Bishop Hodges. She was my mother’s roommate. Alma always had a smile on her face and a kind word to say. We enjoyed playing Bingo, Bunco, Bowling & all other activities with her over the years & feel honored to have gotten to know her. What a gem she was. God Bless & Rest her soul.

Aunt Alma had a certain light and energy that resonated with you long after spending time with her. And that will be the same even after her passing. She lived a long, healthy and happy life touching so many people with her laughter, her wisdom, her prayers and her delicious biscotti’s. Aunt Alma never seemed to have a bad day, she was always in “tip top shape” and if she was any better as she would say “I’d be dangerous.” I feel so fortunate to have gotten the chance to have spent many years visiting her at home, watching the catholic mass, and leaving stuffed with a belly full of home made Italian food. I always look forward to those visits because I knew I would have a good laugh with her and learn something new. She taught me to take life head on and showed me how to find humor in almost everything~her smile and her laughter had a bit of magic behind it. She truly was a blessing in so many ways and devoted her life to her family and to God. Heaven just got a little brighter. Love and miss you Aunt Alma.
