Anderson, Jr., Archie Frederick ” Fred “, 73, of Wheeling, died Wednesday March 29, 2017 in Wheeling Hospital.
He was born October 9, 1943 in Wheeling, son of the late Archie and Valdoris Watson Anderson Sr.
Fred was a retired coal miner with Valley Camp Coal, a member of the former Kain Club, a member of the Cave Club and Warwood Vets.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother Robert Anderson.
Surviving are his wife Linda Susan ” Sue ” Stackpole Anderson, two daughters, Austie Matheney (Richard) of North Carolina, Tina McGinnis of Wheeling, a brother, David Anderson (Gloria) of Wheeling, four grandchildren, Michael McGinnis, Jessica Pollock, Richard Matheney and Carol Matheney, three great grandchildren, Donnell, Amya and Kendrick.
There will no visitation at the funeral home. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family

Uncle Fred was without a doubt my favorite Uncle. He was always good to me and always made me smile. I am going to miss him dearly.
