Avery Andrew Gooch, 52, died Sunday, October 1, 2017, at the Belmont Community Hospital.
He was born May 16, 1965 in Wheeling, a son of the late Robert Gooch.
Avery was a former employee of Sherwin-Williams Paint.
He is survived by his mother, Delores Henry Gooch of Shadyside, 7 children; Chaz Gooch of Shadyside, OH, Renee Rogers of Washington, PA, Melyssa Boehm of Carrollton, OH, Matthew Boehm of Wheeling, Krystyna Gooch of Bellaire, OH, Chelsea Gooch of Moundsville, WV, Andrea Gooch of Shadyside, OH, a foster son, Patrick Etheridge of Virginia Beach, VA, a brother, Robert Gooch of Shadyside, OH and 7 grandchildren.
Friends will be received on Friday, October 6, 2017 from 1:00pm until time of services at 3:00pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling, WV 26003.
