Betty Zane Slife, 88, died peacefully on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Wheeling’s Peterson Rehabilitation Hospital, a caring and loving community.
Betty Zane was born in St. Mary’s, Ohio to the late Clinton Jay Slife and Jennie Miller Slife.
She is survived by her twin sister, Sarah Ann SLife Manahan, formerly of McMechen and now of Dallas, GA; her niece, Colleen Monahan Nathans and her husband, Mark Nathans of Phoenix, AZ; nephew, Michael Leo Monahan and his wife, Patricia Monahan, of Dallas, GA; and a great-nephew, Clint Monahan, also Dallas, GA. Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wheeling and a former resident of mcMechen, WV.
The family will greet friends in a private service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling.
