Beverly Grace Minch, 80, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born November 14, 1935, a daughter of the late Rodney M. and Grace R. (McColloch) Craig. Beverly was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, AARP Member Chapter #824 and Farm Bureau.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Howard L. Minch Sr. (2011); infant son, Robert Alan Minch; two brothers David and Rodney Craig; one sister, Roberta (Craig) Nelson; daughter-in-law, Debra Davis Minch; and great-granddaughter Madalyn B. Vargo.
Beverly is survived by her three daughters, Marianne Vargo (Jerry) of Valley Grove, WV, Linda (Steve) Cook of Barnsville, Ohio, Marie (Tony) Assaro of Warwood, WV; five sons, Howard L. (Christine) Minch of Triadelphia, WV, Timmy (Amy) Minch of Wheeling, Daniel (Gina) Minch of Wheeling, Dennis Minch of Triadelphia, and Randy (Bobbie Jo Meneely) Minch of Wellsburg, WV; 17 grandchildren Darlene Murrin, Suzie Rendon, Lisa McNickle, Missy McAbee, Adam Vargo, Sarah Angel, Sandy Defibaugh, Carl Sheller, Jessica Assaro, Jennifer Bryan, Timmy Minch, Leah Minch, Kyleigh Brogan Minch, Kaden Minch, Karly Minch, Danny Minch, and Gianna Minch; 15 wonderful great-grandchildren; four sisters, Leigh Sorge Smith of Wheeling, Wini (Howard) Harris of SC, Juanita Harbaugh of Georgia, and Sandra (David) Myers of NC; and three brothers, Courtney Craig of MI, Noel Craig of PA, and Gary Craig of CA.
Family and friends will be received Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 1-3 pm & 6-8 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Homes Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger St., Wheeling, where funeral services will be held, Monday, February 1 at 10:30 am. Entombment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
