Brian Scott Gray, 60, of Moundsville, WV, passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at his residence.

He was born in Glen Dale, WV on April 7, 1961.

Brian was a correction officer for the WVDOC, was a member of the Marshall County Hunting & Fishing Club, taught hunter safety education in Marshall County, was an avid hunter and loved to cook.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin L. “Fizz” Gray and two aunts, Anna Louise Yoho and Alice Eileen Hammers.

Surviving are his fiancee, Scarlet Holmes of Moundsville; mother, Luella Gray of Moundsville; daughters, Amanda (Roger) Littleton of Cameron, WV and Brandy (Jason) Schafer of Glen Easton, WV; several grandchildren, Justien Gray, Jersey Schafer, Hannah, Benjamin, Isabella and Ruby Hensley, Alyssa Braithwaite and Maverick Holmes and a great grandchild, Lincoln Hubbs.

Friends will be received on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 4-8 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville with funeral services being held on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 11am with Pastor Mike Eskridge and Pastor Shaun Borner officiating.

Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
