Charles A. Millick passed away peacefully on 30 August 2021 at Good Shepherd in Wheeling, WV.
He was born and raised in Wheeling, educated at Linsly Military Institute and West Point.  He had a successful career as a mechanical engineer with senior positions at General Electric, Johnson & Johnson, and Kimberly-Clark.  After retiring from the private sector, he returned to Wheeling to share his expertise as a professor at WJU business school.  He loved Wheeling and could often be found playing golf at Wheeling park, taking in a WJU basketball game, or simply enjoying good conversation at TJs or The Alpha.
A devoted family man, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carol (Bass) Millick (2006). Charles is succeeded by his sons Brad and Todd, both of whom work with the U.S. military.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, September 2, 2021, from 4-7 pm, at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, 1400 Eoff St., Wheeling. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, September 3, at 9:30 am, at St. Michael Catholic Church with Fr. Carlos Melocoton officiating. Interment will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors by clicking here or to Wheeling Jesuit University Scholarship programs, by clicking here, to honor Chuck’s giving back spirit.

Brad and Todd. Chuck and I were classmates at WP and shared marching on the color guard. Also, he was an usher at our Polish wedding. We were fortunate to be able to get together several times when he was in the DC area. He was a fine friend and classmate and will be missed. Our deepest sympathies to you. May he rest in peace!

Brad and Todd,
I am sorry to hear of your father’s passing. I was his neighbor on Ridgewood. He and your mother were also such kind and caring people. I will remember him fondly.
