Christian E. Iversen

June 4, 1987 - November 13, 2021

06/04/1987 - 11/13/2021

Christian E. Iversen, 34, of Triadelphia passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 13, 2021. He was born on June 4, 1987 and was the son of the late Clifford and Tracy Burkhart.

The last 76 days of his life we watched a struggling young man striving to right his wrongs and be the brother and uncle we always knew he was. There is no shame. The last days that we had with him were some of the best & we knew he wanted to take his life back. He gave it everything that he had but in the end he succumbed to his struggles and it took his life.

Christian was bright, loving, and selfless. His smile and laugh were infectious. Although we will miss him everyday we take peace in knowing that he is no longer struggling.

He is survived by three sisters; Kimberly Dent, Juliette Iversen, & Tracy Iversen, a brother in law, Josh Dent, nieces & nephews; Aubree, Brekon, Baylor, & Brightyn, an early morning coffee buddy; Sharon Burkhalter, his best friends; Sonny Baxter and Jeff Davis, and his first love; Leanne.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

You were only in my life for a small time but you made such a huge impact, your smile, positive outlook on most every conversation we had. The morning talks about personal stuff that you entrusted me with. The morning rides to your future life of a coal miner. You will be missed so very much.

Bub I love you so much. I can’t believe I won’t hear your voice anymore or have to look up to see your face or stand on my tippy toes to hug you. I can hear your laugh so clearly in my head and see your face the last time I saw you. You were loved by so many. Your heart and soul so pure and full of joy always making someone laugh or smile, you would always tell me keep my head up when you were in a worse situation than me but I keep that in the forefront because I have to try now but so hard some days I miss you so much. Fly high punk until we meet again. The fight is over and your at peace and that makes the pain of you not being here a little easier to accept

Slim was like a brother to me! We have been through some ups and downs since we met at the popsicle plant. But mostly we had fun! My kids also loved they Uncle Slim. I’ve never seen a badass melt into the hands of a kid like he did. This still does not seem real to me. Slim I love you brotha and rest easy my friend until we meet again!
