D. Jane (Semancik) Roth, 73, of Wheeling, W.Va., passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017, in Wheeling Hospital.

Jane was born January 22, 1944, a daughter of the late Mike and Ann (Zavatsky) Semancik. She was employed at Wesbanco, Wheeling, and a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Elm Grove. She was also an avid Wheeling Nailers Hockey fan.

In addition to her parents, Jane was preceded in death by her loving husband, Arthur W. “Bill” Roth, in 2012. She is survived by her two daughters, Diane Roth and Holly Dytko, both of Wheeling; a son, Michael (Erin) Roth of Wheeling; three sisters, Pat Klevins, Mary Lou Josefczyk and Fran (Tom) Sloan; four grandchildren, Jordan and Ryan Dytko, and Tyler and Michelle Roth; and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am, Saturday, October 7, 2017, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with the Rev. Gary Naegele as celebrant. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.

So sorry to hear of Jane’s passing. I just returned from a wedding in NC and saw her obituary. I knew Jane thru working at WesBanco. See was a lovely and kind person. My heartfelt sympathies to her family.
