I cannot tell why He Whom angels worship,
Should set His love upon the sons of men,
Or why, as Shepherd, He should seek the wanderers,
To bring them back, they know not how or when.
But this I know, that He was born of Mary
When Bethlehem’s manger was His only home,
And that He lived at Nazareth and laboured,
And so the Saviour, Saviour of the world is come
Sing the song Londonderry Air if there is room in the Service
I cannot tell why He Whom angels worship,
Should set His love upon the sons of men,
Or why, as Shepherd, He should seek the wanderers,
To bring them back, they know not how or when.
But this I know, that He was born of Mary
When Bethlehem’s manger was His only home,
And that He lived at Nazareth and laboured,
And so the Saviour, Saviour of the world is come
Danny was a very special person. I attended St. Michael’s and Danny’s sister Janie was my best friend. We spent lots of time with Danny playing music and singing together. He always brought a smile to our faces. May he Rest In Peace and meet up with his special family in Heaven.
