A beautiful angel received her eternal wings.

DAVIS, Deanna Lynn, 42, of Proctor, W.Va., died Monday, November 20, 2017, in Ruby Memorial Hospital.

She was born September 11, 1975, in Wheeling, W.Va., a daughter of Linda D. Greathouse and the late Chester D. Greathouse. She was a member of the Ash Avenue Church of God in Moundsville and volunteered at the Feeding of the Body and Soul Community Kitchen.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Jackson “Jack” Ray Davis Sr., two children, Sarah Grace Davis, and Jackson Ray Davis Jr. of Proctor; and two brothers, Daniel (Connie) Greathouse of Md., and Robert (Bekah) Greathouse of New Martinsville, W.Va.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 21, 2017, from 4-8 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 1 pm with Rev. Scott Haynes officiating. Interment will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
