Schane, Dennis John, 70, of Wheeling, died Saturday, April 29, 2017 in Belmont Community Hospital, Bellaire, Ohio.
He was born September 4, 1946 in Wheeling, the son of the late Samuel and Johanna Beucke Schane.
Dennis was a retired coal miner at Consol Energy.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Linda Boreman Schane in 2007.
Surviving are a son, Matthew Schane of Russells Point, Ohio, two brothers, Robert Schane (Kitty) of McMechen, Kevin “Cork” Schane (Patti) of Beech Bottom, his companion, Brenda Masciarelli of Bellaire and her son Joseph Masciarelli of Columbus, three nephews, Brian, Zachary and Anthony Schane and three great nephews, Austin, Aiden and Acelen Schane.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements by Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling.
