Diana Lee (Wetterau) Bell, 54, of Cameron, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016, in Wheeling Hospital.

Dee was born June 4, 1961 in Hawaii, a daughter of the late Gerald T. and Betty J. (Gilmore) Wetterau. She was a Culinary Arts graduate of West Virginia Northern Community College; worked as a salad chef for the Wheeling Country Club; and was a Catholic by faith. She also loved animals and was a member of the S.P.C.A.

In addition to her parents, Dee was preceded in death by her sister, Karen Sure Wetterau. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Carl L. Bell; her children, Lacey, Sadie, Chloey and Maggie; two brothers, Jerry (Joyce) Wetterau of Cameron, W.Va. and John (Melissa) Wetterau of Weirton, W.Va.; best friend, Margaret (Alex) Hutchison of Wheeling; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dee was the kindest, sweetest, gentlest, most beautiful person you will ever meet. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her.

Friends will be received from 1-7 pm, Saturday, May 21, 2016, at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, where funeral services will be held at 5 pm, with the Rev. Msgr. Jeremiah McSweeney officiating.

To the Bell family,
my family and I would like to send our condolences at this sad time. May your family find comfort and hope in God’s promise to bring and end to all sicknesses, deaths, sorrow, and pain.
