Dolores “Bibi” Zien, 91, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Continuous Care, Wheeling.
Dolores was born on August 16, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA, daughter of the late Daniel and Frances Kasunic.
She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and St. Mary Ukrainian Church. Retired as co-owner and bookkeeper of Zien’s Restaurant. She enjoyed art, sculpting and painting. Bibi was a very devoted mother and wife.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Luke Michael Zien, six siblings, Barbara Cerra, Mary Rudish, Anna Marie Dobson, Marcus Kasunic, Daniel Kasunic and Thomas Kasunic.
Surviving is her husband of 64 years, Walter Zien of Wheeling, one son Mark Walter Zien of Wheeling, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Sunday, November 14 from 2pm to 6 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV 26003. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 15 at 11am at St. Michael Catholic Church with Rev. Carlos serving as celebrant.
Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery

So very sorry to hear of Dolores passing. She was a wonderful person, so sweet to speak with & the Love she had for her family. One thing she could make me smile with was her cakes.She had a talent for doing the beautiful Trees & Fireplace at the Restaurant. Now she will be at Rest after years of sickness. May the Lord Welcome her into the Heaven. Sadly missed
