Dominica “Donna” Richter

Donna F. Richter died July 19th, 2022 at Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
She was born in October 1924, the daughter of the late Andrew and Francis Oblizajek.
She will now be reunited with the Love of her Life, Donald, who died in 2006.
She is preceded in death by her sister Verna Dolecki; a brother William Oblizajek.
Donna is survived by her only child, Marlene Wiley and her husband Mark, who was like a son to her; a sister Jenny Simcic of Arizona who turned 100 years in March 2022; the loving joys of her life were three grandchildren; Bryan (Tracy) Wiley, Chad (Nikki) Wiley and Monica (Adam) Klamut; seven great-grandchildren completed her happiness, Izak and Reid Wiley, Derek and Marcus Wiley, Kinley, Kazen and Peyton Klamut. She had many special nephews and nieces and wonderful friends, who all adored her.
Donna was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Glen Dale.
She worked at a sewing factory for a short time and then dedicated the rest of her life to being a homemaker and best wife to Donald, mom, grandma and friend to everyone that knew her or needed help. No one was allowed to leave her house unless she gave you food or something to drink. She was especially known for her Ice Tea and homemade Mac & Cheese. Her house was a revolving door to many and even to her grandchildren’s friends. She will surely be missed.
The family would like to thank all the special staff who took wonderful, loving care of Donna at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
Friends will be received on Sunday July 24, 2002 from 2-4 pm and 5-7 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville. Services will be held on Monday July 25, 2022 at 11 am at the funeral home with Rev. John Ledford officiating. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
Vigil services will be Sunday at 7pm.
