Donald Leroy Grimm Jr., 62, of St. Clairsville, OH, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Shadyside Care Center.

He was born January 25, 1959, a son of the late Donald and Helen (Hall) Grimm Sr. Don was an avid fisherman and hunter, a karaoke enthusiast and enjoyed stock car racing. Don was an accomplished archer. He was a US Army National Guard Veteran, serving from 1979-1985.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter, Hope Louise Grimm, two brothers, Thomas McGary and Alfred “Mac” McGary; an infant sister, Sherry Grimm and one special nephew, Tommy Allen.

Don is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Debby (West) Grimm; four children, Jennifer (Chris) Ley, Mary (Hotrod) McGlumphy, Jason (Marquita) Hanket and Jenna Hanket and her significant other Charlie Donley; five siblings, Mary Lou Allen, Jackie (Dennis)Williams, Doris (George) Arant, JoAnn Benline and Lee Bettem; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild on the way; one uncle, Delbert (Butch) Grimm and several cousins, nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Foxy.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 2-4 pm & 6 pm until time of services at 7:30 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, Lutes & Kirby-Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Shadyside Care Center.
