Dortha Leora (Scrithfield) Fisher, 101, of Cameron, formerly of Maud, Texas and Farmington, WV, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017, at Cameron Nursing and Rehab. Center. She was born October 11, 1916, in Fairmont, WV. Daughter of the late William Aaron & Emma Mae (Rush) Scritchfield. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clair Cooper Fisher; brother, Clarence Scritchfield; sisters, Pearl Wilson, Dale Van Meter, Virginia Halsey, Jean Besedich, Pauline Slatt Osbourne, Betty Boulliet and Evelyn Hinerman, son-in-law, Ralph Floyd Hall. Dortha was a retired clerk for the US Stamping and a member of the Hillview Terrace and Maud Churches of Christ. She is survived by two daughters, Pamela (George) Messner of Moundsville and Donna Hall of Weirton, WV; six grandchildren, Joseph Snyder, Rob Snyder, Maria Hall, Michael Willard, Cara Willard Littrell and Cpl Daniel J. Messner and eight great-grandchildren, Damian, Dathan, Seth and Nicholas Davis, Liam & Landon Littrell, Emma Willard and Zoey Willard.
