Elizabeth Ann Kobasko, age 78, passed away, with her daughters at her bedside on Sept. 1st, 2021, in Wheeling, WV.
Elizabeth was born and raised in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Helen and Larry Hockenberry.
Preceded in death by her sisters Norma Britt, Mary Trouten, and Sandra Fiutem.
She is survived by her devoted husband, James (Jim) of nearly 60 years, and her sister, Barbara Breiding, as well as her loving daughters, Kimberly Gable and Jennifer Joseph, who were with her as her soul departed to live in the light of Jesus. Loving and compassionate grandmother to Bailey Joseph, Conner Joseph, and Ashely Joseph, and Helena Gable and Merris Gable.
Elizabeth was known for her charitable outreach and her compelling story-telling abilities.
There will be a private visitation and funeral service, followed by a Christian burial.
