Francine, Anna Marie, and Jackie: Although I haven’t seen your mother, or you girls, in many years, my thoughts quickly return to our days as neighbors on Paxton Ave. I remember the friendship our parents shared. And I especially remember how kind your mother was, alongside Patty Straughn, Kay McGee, and others from the neighborhood, to our family when our mother was ill so many years ago. While taking care of her own family, she also made meals for us, and helped my mom and our family get thru a very difficult time. I am forever grateful to have had such a kind and caring neighbor. My sincere condolences to your family during this difficult time.—Jim McDermott, Charlotte NC

May Jehovah God sustain you at this time of such great loss. “The bible says about our heavenly father. “When anxieties overwhelmed me, you comforted and soothed me.”—Ps. 94:19. May he prove to be that for you now!
