He was always had a good word for me when I saw him growing up and was always pleasant to be around. Thanks Jess for just being who you were. The town and all those around you were lucky to have you. You will never be forgotten. My sincerest condolences to your great family.

While it’s been years since I’ve seen Jerry, he and his bar will always be a fond memory of both my well spent and misspent young adulthood….The adult rec league games of slow pitch softball, basketball, and flag football during the 70’s against the Jerry Padlow sponsered ” Barflys” will always be etched in my mind along with visits Jerry’s Bar during the decades of the 70’s and 80’s. ……. Jerry provided a lot of memories for guys in my age group and others as he seemed to live life with the philosophy “If you aren’t living life on the edge, you’re taking up to much room.” For myself and others who are no longer with us or who won’t take the time. THANKS…….. My thoughts and sympathy are with all of Jerry’s family and many friends.
