Frank Hadom, 81, of McMechen, WV, died Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at the Bishop Hodges Continuous Care Center.
He was born April 2, 1936, in Wheeling, a son of the late John and Magdaline Tomas Hadom.
Frank was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Wheeling, was retired from Wheeling Stamping, and was a decorated U. S. Army veteran serving 2 tours of duty.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Max and John Hadom, and 2 sisters; Claire and Pauline Hadom.
Frank is survived by a brother; Anthony Hadom of McMechen, 3 sisters; Blanche Hadom of McMechen, Louise (Victor) Zavolas of Pittsburgh, PA, Helen (Joseph) Cuchta of Moundsville, WV, 3 nieces; Darlene Paliswat, Debra Robinson and Diane Schuster, and 2 nephews; Joe Cuchta and Michael Zavolas.
Friends will be received on Sunday, November 19, 2017, from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Benwood-McMechen Chapel, 214 Marshall St. McMechen, WV.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 20, 2017, at 11:00 am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with Rev. Arul Anthony as celebrant.
Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, with full military honors from the Moundsville Honor Guard.
