Fred William Herink, 74, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021 in Wheeling Continuous Care, Wheeling.
He was born July 24, 1947 in Wheeling, the son of the late Fred and Alice (Lee) Herink Jr.
Fred was a retired manager for Starfire Gas Station and a Catholic by faith.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister Cathy Hess.
Surviving are two sisters, Judy (Tom) Skiba of Wenham, Massachusetts and Sharon Matheny of Wheeling; two nephews Jimmy and Donnie Hess; a niece Alicia Thompson; four great nephews and two great nieces.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A Memorial Mass will be scheduled at a later date and time. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
