Harry J. Zdobinski, 83, of Wheeling, WV passed away peacefully and went home with Lord on March 10th.
Harry was born November 11, 1939 in McKees Rock, PA to the late Harry and Stella Zdobinski. He was in the Shadyside Community Band, the Vice President of the Hill Hoppers Flying Club, and was part of the Ohio Valley Men of Integrity with Promise Keepers. Above all, he loved his family. He was a great Dad and Grandfather, and loved to be involved with his son’s and granddaughter’s hobbies.
In addition to his parents, Harry is preceded in death by his brother, David Zdobinski.
Harry is survived by; his high school sweetheart and wife of 63 years, Pat; His son, Mark (Angela) Zdobinski; One granddaughter, Alyssa Zdobinski; a brother, Bobby (Barb) Zdobinski; Nephew, Danny and great niece and nephew, Colton and Dhara.
Friends will be received Tuesday, March 14 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home Elm Grove Chapel 154 Kruger St. Wheeling, WV.
Funeral services for Harry will be held Wednesday, March 15, 11:30am at Harbor of Hope Assembly of God, St. Clairsville, OH with pastor Dean Myers.
Pat, I’m so sorry to learn of Harry’s passing. I always looked forward to seeing you both in church with my mom. The Joy that emanated from you both was and is palpable! He will be missed! Praying for peace and comfort and sending you all my love!

Mrs. Zdobinski, my thoughts are with you and your family. I can’t believe I’m I’m never going to sit next to him in band or wait on him at the library again. He was such an awesome person and will be sorely missed.
Pat, I am very sorry about your loss. I never met Harry but meeting you at the Rosenbaum house and our prayer and chat we had at the coffee bar was a awesome time and very special to me, I know, without a doubt that it was a divine appointment from God that we met that morning in the elevator, my heart goes out to you and your son and all your family at this very heartbreaking time in your life but I know as well as you do that Harry is up in heaven with Jesus, and that is very comforting and even though it is a sad time, losing your loved one, your partner in life your soul mate I know you have peace and comfort in knowing It is a celebration to know that they are walking on the streets of gold made whole no more sickness and no more pain basking in the love of Jesus just know, I am praying for you and your family as you go through this difficult time of your life
