O’SHAUGHNESSY, Helen D., 87, of Morgantown, W.Va., and formerly of Wheeling, W.Va., died Friday, May 26, 2017 in Mapleshire Nursing and Rehab Center in Morgantown.
She was born September 24, 1929, in Detroit, Mich., a daughter of the late Arthur and Belva Artzberger.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick O’Shaughnessy, and brother, John Artzberger.
She is survived by two children, James (Chris Anderson) O’Shaughnessy of Phoenixville, Pa., and Janet (Stephen) Boone of Morgantown; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephanie, Logan, Blake, Jackie, and Luke; and five great grandchildren, Sara, Owen, Katrina, Jonathan, and William.
The family would like to thank the staff at Mapleshire Nursing and Rehab Center for all their care and support.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 10-10:45 am at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 11 am at the Mount Calvary Cemetery Bishop’s Chapel. Interment will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.
