Helen “Jeri” Bibey, 82, of Wheeling, W.Va., passed away peacefully, February 9, 2016, at Liza’s Place.
She was born July 17, 1933, a daughter of the late Jerome and Frances (Manning) Stahl. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Gloria Orlofske.
Jeri is survived by her best friend and husband of 64 years, Denzel; her two sons, Dave (and the late Kathy), of Pittsburgh, and Lance (Joyce) of Wheeling; five grandchildren, Brian (Kim), Christopher (Nicolette) and Jenna (Nick) Muncie, all of Pittsburgh, and Boyd and Lane Bibey of Wheeling; three great-grandsons, Jackson, Bennett and Mason, all of Pittsburgh; two sisters-in-law, Gwen Bibey of St. Clairsville and Sharon (Dick) Cameron of Wheeling; and several nieces and nephews she dearly loved.
Family and friends will be received from 9-11 am, Thursday, February 11, 2016, at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling, WV 26003. Mass of Christian Burial will then be celebrated at 11:30 am, Thursday, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, with the Rev. Dennis Schuelkens as celebrant. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.
