Jamie Lynn McAninch, 58, of Wheeling, WV., passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital.
Jamie was born on Easter, April 14, 1963, daughter of the late Robert E. McAninch and late Dolores Louise (Barte) McAninch.
Catholic by Faith, Jamie graduated from Wheeling Central in 1983 and WV Northern Community College.
Jamie worked in retail and was a telemarketer until she retired due to a heart condition.
She is survived by life-long partner Irvin “Bud” Ruckh who lovingly was her caretaker; sister Susan McAninch of Wheeling and Susan’s daughter Jessamine Schmidt; brother Robert E. (Sheri) McAninch of Bellaire, Ohio and their children Sarah, Andrew, Elizabeth and Rachel.
She was preceded in death by grandparents James and Eleanor (Straub) and Step Grandmother Shirley Barte.
Jamie was a true original person who loved to go to Fairs, Festivals, Circuses, Carnivals and Concerts. She lived life to the fullest, traveling and socializing.
Friends are invited to a Memorial Gathering on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 2-pm – 4 pm and 6 pm – 8 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 1400 Eoff Street, Wheeling. A Memorial Mass will be held at Cathedral of St. Joseph on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at 10 am. with Rev. Martin Smay as celebrant. Burial of Ashes at Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling between her father and mother. Together Again.
Memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
