Kalo, Janice Mary, 70, of Wheeling, died Sunday September 10, 2017 in Liza’s Place, Wheeling.

She was born December 27, 1946 in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Andrew J. and Mary Thomas Kalo.
Janice was a claims adjudicator for Mountain State Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and a lifelong member of St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wheeling.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving daughter, Jennifer Kalo.
Surviving are a brother, Daniel V. Kalo (Nancy) of St. Albans, WV., a sister, Andrea L. Kalo of Wheeling, two nieces, Sarah Kalo Cooper (Joshua) of St. Albans WV., Brantlee Elwell (Dale) of Ronceverte, WV., four cousins, Debra Milton of Spring, TX., Martha Kalo Kuntz, Charles Kalo and Robert Kalo all of Wheeling, two great nieces and two great nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 6-8 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 10 am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. Paul Hudock as celebrant. Interment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Wheeling.

Vigil service will be on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 8 pm.

My sincere sympathy to the Kalo family! I went to school with Janice and she was a wonderful person. She missed her daughter so much and now she is reunited with her! May they be together in Paradise., and I know Janice is at peace!
