Jeffrey Kent Rogerson, born on June 30, 1966, in Wheeling, WV, peacefully passed away on April 2, 2024, at Liza’s Place- Valley Hospice Care Center South after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 57.

Jeffrey worked as a Brick Mason with Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local 1. His interests were diverse, ranging from being a long-time Nascar fan, die-hard Franco Harris and Steelers fan, avid WVU Football enthusiast, and Harley Davidson aficionado. He found joy in motorcycles, fishing, and hunting, embodying a spirit of adventure and passion for life. He was also a member of the Cave Club.

Jeffrey is preceded in death by his father, Barry Kent Rogerson, stepfather, Vince Fusco, and nephew, Theron Rogerson. He is survived by his loving mother, Emilie Fusco; daughters, Amanda (Steve) Thomas and Jessica (Adam) Jenkins; siblings, Tina (Mike) Tordella and Jamie (Chrisi) Rogerson; 7 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Services for Jeffrey will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, starting with a memorial visitation at 12:00 pm, followed by the service at 1:00 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, located at 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV with Chaplain Michael Rowe as Celebrant.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at to honor Jeffrey’s memory and support a cause close to his heart.

Jeffrey Kent Rogerson will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to those he loved. May he rest in peace.
