Jesse Lee Hill, 77, of Benwood, WV, passed away on January 14, 2023.

Jesse was born on May 4, 1945 in Albany KY, son of the late James and Christine (Hatcher) Hill.

He was a US Army Veteran, retired coal miner from Consol Coal and a former Maintenance worker at Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glen Dale, WV.

Jesse enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy Hill of Benwood; children, Lee Ann (Daniel) Miller of Morgantown, WV, Mike (Jennifer) Hill of Sherrard, Jason (Joey) Hill of Sherrard and step-son, John (Cybil) Cramer of Sherrard; sister, Joyce Reynolds of Moundsville; 5 grandchildren, Genevieve Miller, Wyatt Hill, Tucker Hill, Talia Miller, step-granddaughter, Johnna Cramer and his faithful companion, Duke.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Benwood/McMechen Chapel, 214 Marshall Street, McMechen, WV from 6-8 pm and again on January 18, 2023, from 10 am until time of services at 11 am.  Interment will follow at Halcyon Hills Cemetery, Sherrard.
