Job M. Sorge, 80, passed away Thursday, September 29, 2022 in Peterson Hospital, Wheeling.
He was born January 24, 1942 in Wheeling, the son of the late Thomas and Hazel Anne (Jones) Sorge.
Job was an Union Electrician; a U S Army Veteran of the Vietnam War; and a devout Catholic with St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Elm Grove, Wheeling.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers Tom, Alvin and Gregory Russell Sorge.
He is survived by his two sisters Hazel Karrasch and Martha (Tom) Myles; two special nieces Rosella Ann and Mary Beth Myles and several other nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date and time.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Moundsville Veteran’s Honor Guard will conduct Graveside Military Services.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund, 5 Henry Bacon Drive NW, Washington DC, 20002 or Wounded Warriors Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Suite 300, Jacksonville, FL., 32256.
