Holly, so sad to hear of your Dad’s passing. Read it in the Herald Star. Thoughts and prayers to you and Zachary.
John, Tom Pierce, Keith Pierce and I were best friends in high school and actually all started in the first grade at the old Hills school building and later went to Mingo High school. We all hug around together and had a lot laughs. John was a good friend. I ran into him at a Big Red football game and he told me he learned something from my dad. We were always in my basement playing pool so my dad always knew where we were. John said he did the same think with his daughters. All of us went our separate ways after and very seldom saw each other. But we had fun when we did see one another. My deepest sympathy to his wife and family. Good friend, father and Grandfather. RIP
I worked with John in the Mill. He was fun to work with, a lot of laughs. Nothing bothered John, he will be missed.
