To the Eikleberry family, my deepest sympathy in the loss of John. I worked with John at BCH & he was in my wedding in 1984 as was I in yours. John had a great knowledge of emergency medicine & firefighting so no surprise he was Chief for so long. Loved his sense of humor & his caring attitude for others. I know John will be lovingly missed by all.

I had the honor of knowing John in my work at OVMC EMSTAR. Without fail, when John brought a patient to us we knew they had received the best pre hospital care possible. His love of people will not be forgotten by all he came into contact with. May you find comfort and peace in the days ahead. RIP John…your work will long be remembered.

I was so sorry to hear of John’s passing. I worked with him at the Hospital and never worried about the ER if John was there. He was always fun to work with, and took good care of the patients. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family during this difficult time.
