What a smile. The kind of smile that made me smile. John was always happy to talk to me, rather it was at a Bishop Donahue school event or at his neighbor Dave Paulas house next door. A friend indeed. My wife had a rock bust her windshield and she had to work, the mobile glass repair guy was on his way. It was cold out and a storm was about to blow in. I really needed a place in town to get the windshield replaced. John said Come in my garage at a moment’s notice. He had cleared it out and even put a tubo heater in there. The repairman was so hot and happy, he had to turn it off. THE Windshield is lasting memory of his kindness I will forever remember. What a nice guy. Heaven will be happy. I know another angel now by name.
You will be sadly missed. I enjoyed our time at work but enjoyed the golf games more. We offer prayers for your loved ones.
May the love of God surround you and your family during this difficult time,
May you come to know that the love of God is with you always,
May your memories of John Ivan Walters, give you peace, comfort and strength…
Rest now in the arms of our Lord your mission on earth is complete.
I thank you for your service to our Country and my Freedom. You will not be forgotten..
