John Junior Sebroski, 90, of Shadyside, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at his home surrounded by family.
He was born in Moundsville, WV on June 10, 1932, son of the late Peter & Mary (Chelkowski) Sebroski.
John was retired from Allied Chemical/LCP, member of the Lincoln Avenue United Methodist Church in Shadyside, VFW Post #437 and a US NAVY Korean War Veteran. He loved spending time with family, politics, antiques, camping and music.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Mae (McMillan) Sebroski; 5 brothers, Joseph, Peter, Frank, Chester and Stanley Sebroski and 4 sisters, Stella Rahuba, Sophia Nachreiner, Helen Crow and Catherine Sebroski.
Surviving are his children, John (Christina) Sebroski of McDonald, PA, Michael (Melissa) Sebroski of Bellaire, OH, Amy (Michael) Roupe of Moundsville and James (Kelly) Sebroski of Moundsville: 9 grandchildren Chad, Megan, Levi and Samuel Sebroski, Daniel “Junior” Cheatham III, Kayla and Owen Roupe and Miranda and Bailey Sebroski and his two pug companions, Lilly and Jack.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm and Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 10-11 am at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapels, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 11 am with pastor Seth Filburn officiating.
