Kathleen F. (Schenk) Bonacci, 69, of Wheeling, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at Liza’s Place.
She was born January 24, 1947, a daughter of the late Albert and Kathleen (Hogan) Schenk III. Kathleen was a graduate of Mt. De Chantal Visitation Academy. She loved animals, music and most of all her sons and grandchildren.
Kathleen is survived by her two sons, Frank (Joannah) Bonacci and Brian (Joy Banal) Bonacci, both of Wheeling; five sisters, Nancy Casey, Karen (Terry) Sligar, Louise (Clark) Couling, Mary (Gary) Hamilton, and Heidi Bruhn; six grandchildren, Chelsee, Chance, Cole Bonacci, Dan (Kate) Romanie, , and Brandon and Breanne Ross; one great-granddaughter, Sofia Romanie and one great-grand dog, Winston.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Sarah, Danielle, Leslie and all the caring staff of Liza’s Place.
A mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 11 am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Gary Naegele officiating. Entombment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Liza’s Place, St. Johns Home for Children or to NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) in C/O www.tmcfunding.com.

We are so sorry to hear of Kathleen’s passing. I remember fondly of driving Kathleen and her sisters to the Mount everyday, My step-son Bummer was a friend of Franky’s. With deepest sorrow for your family. I really enjoyed the time I worked for her father. Gary Walter and family.
