We regretfully announce the passing of LaDonna Ruth Martin-Evans. She passed peacefully in her sleep on Friday, March 18, 2022. She is survived by her children, Stacey, Nicholas & his wife Alex, and Chad & his fiancé Ashley, her siblings and their wives, Gary & Connie, Tim & Jan, her nieces and nephews, Travis, Danielle, Christopher, Alison, and Nicole, and her grandchildren, Brooklynn, Bella, Mason, and Max.
To the people that knew her, she was a bright light that filled every room she walked into. She thrived on being the friend to confide in, the shoulder to cry on, and the mother to so many. From cutting oranges for her children’s sports teams, traveling the world as a Flight Attendant, telling President Ford to hold on at a WH dinner to hosting a World Series party, her life was filled with love, adventure and joy few ever match. An extraordinary life to be sure…
Her wishes were not for a funeral, but instead to celebrate her life. We would like to invite anyone that loved and knew her to a celebration that commemorates the life of a truly spectacular woman. One final day of laughs and stories to honor an amazing woman who was unmatched in her compassion and generosity. That meant the world, not only to us, but so many others.
We love and miss you mom, and always will.
