Lavada Marie Niven, 70, of Wheeling, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
She was born in Bellaire, Ohio on April 28, 1952, the daughter of the late Theodore and Dorothy (Clark) Snedeker.
Lavada was a homemaker and a Christian by faith.
Surviving are her loving husband Robert Niven and a brother Larry Snedeker.
Friends are invited to a Memorial Gathering on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 from 2 pm – 5 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Benwood-McMechen Chapel, 214 Marshall Street, McMechen. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

I’m so sorry to hear about the passing of Lavada. I knew her as a child and only as an adult through her friend Rosemary Frasnelli. We spoke of Lavada and Larry and the good people of Benwood. I offer my sympathy and prayers to Larry and all the family.
