COTTRELL, Lawrence Eugene Jr., 69, of Wheeling, W.Va., died Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at home.
He was born January 13, 1948, in Wheeling a son of the late Lawrence E. Cottrell Sr. and Wilma (Shoulter) Cottrell. He was a retired security officer and a U.S. Army Veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Rocky Cottrell.
He is survived by his loving wife, Clara M. Miller; one son, Scott (Lesley) Cottrell of Morgantown, W.Va.; one daughter, Theresa (Charles) Norman of Triadelphia, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Coltn Dimmick and Brendin Norman of Triadelphia, and McKenna and Liam Cottrell of Morgantown, W.Va.; one sister, Darlene Farrenholz of Harrisburg, Pa.; one brother, Roger Cottrell of Warwood, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received for a memorial gathering on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 2-3 pm and from 5 pm until time of memorial service at 7 pm a the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling.
