Lois Jean Lauffer, 88, of Triadelphia, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2016 in her residence. She was born in Triadelphia on December 13, 1927, a daughter of the late John and Teresa (Refi) Nagy. Lois was an active member of St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church having served in many different aspects of church life.
She is survived by her special niece and care giver, Jodi Nixon; several other kind care givers; many other nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 65 years, Charles D. Lauffer in 2015.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 1 pm in St Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 2244 Marshall Ave, Wheeling, with Father Gary Nagley officiating. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Seven Dolors Cemetery.

Jean and Dan were wonderful, kind neighbors . They watched us grow up and were an
