Louise Marie Lohri, 92, formerly of Glen Dale, WV, passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 at Stonerise Moundsville.
She was born December 14, 1928, a daughter to the late Anthony and Mary (Simonoski) Key. Marie was a devout member of St. Jude Catholic Church and the St. Jude Women’s Guild. She was an avid fan of bowling, game shows and baseball, especially the Atlanta Braves.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Gene Lohri (2008); four brothers, Stanley, Chester, Stephen and Edward Key; four sisters, Jenny Yochum, Helen Oakland, Alice Diaz and Jo Anne Key and a son-in-law, Jerry “Jake” Evans.
Marie is survived by her four children, Steve (Debbie) Lohri of Wheeling, Mike Lohri of Hyattsville, MD, Jane Evans of Moundsville and Donna Nozum of Canonsburg, PA; one sister, Carol Chambers of Moundsville; one brother, Anthony “Butch” Key of Wheeling; six grandsons, five great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, May 13, 2021 from 11 am until time of Mass at 1 pm at St. Jude Catholic Church, 710 Jefferson Ave., Glen Dale, with Fr. That Son Ngoc Nguyen officiating. Interment will be held at Riverview Cemetery.
