KING, Margaret “Genny” G., 96, of Wheeling, W.Va. died Monday, April 11, 2016 at OVMC.
She was born August 13, 1919, in Cameron, W.Va., a daughter of the late Clyde L. and Trella (Crow) Redd. She was a member of The First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Wheeling and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She worked many years for Remington Rand and Taylor Office Equipment in Wheeling. In her free time, she enjoyed painting and embroidering.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John “Alfred” King, two sisters, Eleanor Miedel and Mary M. McCluskey, and one nephew, Stephen Miedel.
She is survived by two great nephews, Stephen Shane Miedel and Michael Christopher Miedel; and her nephew Stephen Miedel’s wife, Kathryn Miedel.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at 10 am at the Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Hardway officiating. Entombment will follow in Halcyon Hills Memorial Gardens.
