Marie B. Thomas, 95, of Wheeling, died Friday, July 29, 2016 at the Belmont Manor Care Center.
She was born May 9, 1921 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of Albert and Wanita Abraham Zainoon.

Marie was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and was a jogger and square dancer and a wonderful mother, who was devoted to her family.
In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Thomas, and 4 sisters; Irene Melisso, Minnie Nagi, Barbara Dadante, Virginia Wesley, granddaughter Charlene McFarland and her husband Mark, and 2 great grandchildren; Zachary Patroski and Adam Snider.
Surviving are 3 children; Manuel Thomas and his wife, Pat of St. Clairsville, OH, Patricia “P.J.” Weiss and her husband, Bob of Wheeling, Deborah Bartsch and her husband, Dave of Glendale, WV, a sister, Pauline Stewart of Washington, DC, 3 grandchildren; Michael Goode, Marvin Thomas and Chuckie Snider and 9 great grandchildren; Cierra Geho, Krista Patroski, Mike France, Kayla LaMotte, Charles and Brandon Snider, Levon LaMotte, and Madison and Mason Thomas.
Family and friends are invited to attend services on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Bishops Chapel in Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Msgr. Bakhos Chidiac officiating. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum within Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
