Marilyn Loffer, 68, passed away on August 20, 2021 at the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, in Florida; after a valiant fight against the Corona Virus.
She was born January 29, 1953, the daughter of the late Nicholas A. Zainoon and Martha Violet Gorayeb- Zainoon of Glendale, W.V.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Thaddeeus, (Teddy).
Marilyn is survived by her husband William Loffer of Havana, FL.; son Nicholas of Havana, FL; sister Nancy Zainoon- Georges of Wheeling, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Marilyn was a graduate of Bishop Donahue High School and West Virginia University, where she earned a BS in Early Childhood Development. Marilyn was a devoted mother, and homemaker.
There will be a private service at the Greenwood Cemetery Chapel in Wheeling for family, and close friends; officiated by Msgr. Paul Hudock, on Friday September 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at the cemetery.

I am so sad to hear this. Marilyn was a childhood friend and she had the most infectious laugh. So sorry for your loss, Nancy, her husband and son. Prayers for all of you. ♥️
Marilyn lived across the street from my family and later moved just up the street from us in Glen Dale. Some of my earliest and fondest memories are of the Zainoon family. What a wonderful family. Nancy I am sorry for your loss. Ron Osmianski
