Lynch, Mary Ann, 84, of McMechen, W.Va. died Thursday, January 8, 2016.

She was born April 19, 1931, in Wheeling, W.Va., a daughter of the late Raymond and Sarah (Hughes) Zoeller. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church in McMechen and president of the St. James Rosary Altar Society. She was also a proud member of the St. James Parish Council and the Marshall County Senior Citizens.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence L. Lynch.

She is survived by two sons, Lawrence R. Lynch and John A. Lynch of McMechen; two daughters, Jane (Dale) Wilson of McMechen and Susan A. (Ted) Berisford of Wheeling; five grandchildren, Dana and Beth McLaughlin, Justin Wilson, and John and Jacob Lynch; and six great grandchildren, Ava, Everly, Braylon, Tessy, Ella, and Aubrey.

Friends will be received on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 1-4 & 6-8 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home, Benwood-McMechen Chapel, 214 Marshall Street, McMechen. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 11 am at St. James Catholic Church in McMechen with Rev. That Son Ngoc Nguyen as celebrant. Interment will follow in McMechen Cemetery.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Mary Ann Lynch. I knew her through church council activities as well as retreats. A b7nch of us would go places to visist friends. She was always so much fun, always pleasant and smiling. Such a kind lady, always ready to help out in any way. She will be missed!

John,Larry,Jane & Susan. So sorry to hear about your Mom’s passing, Vickie & I thought the world of your Mom & Dad, they would do anything for us, I enjoyed the talks we had together we are surely going to miss them, i just wish we would have got to know them longer than we did, they both will be in my mind & heart for as long as i live, i don’nt think i ever met two nicer couple.
