Mary E. Cunningham

Mary E. Cunningham, 89, of Moundsville, W. Va., passed away Friday, July 31, 2015 in Moundview Health Care.
She was born February 12, 1926, a daughter of the late Don and Rose (Hill) Burkey. Mary was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, an Avon sales representative for many years, and an avid gardener.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her four brothers, John, Donald, Arch, and Robert Burkey; and six sisters, Myrtle Andrews, Beatrice Coffield, Joanne Eyler, Clara Fonner, Evyln Williams, and Trixie Frye.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, of 69 years, Dale Cunningham; her four children, Carol (Jay) Rine, Larry (Alma) Cunningham, Glen (Ramona) Cunningham, and Brent (Toni) Cunningham; her sister, Rosalie Clark; eight grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the Altmeyer Funeral Home Chapel, Lutes-Kirby Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., Moundsville, where services will be held, Monday, August 3 at 1:30 pm will Rev. Dennis Mehaffie as Celebrant. Interment will take place at Ebenezer Methodist Church Cemetery.
