Mary Gladys “Peggy” Kuhn, 90, of Cameron, WV, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2016 in Cameron Nursing Home.
She was born February 27, 1926, a daughter of the late Joseph A. and Mary Gertrude (Ryan) Aston. Peggy was a member of Fork Ridge Christian Church and of TOPS. She loved to crochet and was a wonderful seamstress.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Dale M. Kuhn (1990); four brothers, Harry “Buster”, John, Thomas “Cy” and Donald Aston; one sister, Judy Kay Aston; one half brother, Henry Aston and one grandson, Jeremy Kuhn.
Peggy is survived by her children, Kenneth Dale Kuhn, Connie Lou (Robert) Lyons, Karen Sue (Jim) McMillan, and Linda Sharon (Leonard) Wellman; three brothers, Joseph Aston Jr., Isaac Aston and Paul “Jack” Aston; four sisters, Maxine Burkey, Emma Davis, Anna Emerson, and Patty Myers; nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, May 19, 2016 from 3-8 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Homes, Lutes & Kirby – Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Ave., where funeral services will be held Friday, May 20 at 10 am with Rev. Wesley Howsare and Pastor Ron Williams co-officiating. Interment will take place at Fork Ridge Christian Church Cemetery.
