I am so sorry to hear that Mary has passed. She was such a wonderful woman. I had the pleasure of knowing her through my years working at Elmhurst. She believed in keeping fit, joining in at exercise class and walking on the treadmill nearly every day! Her faith was strong and her love for her family immense! I will miss her. I’m sorry I missed her life celebration as I was out of town. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

I had the pleasure of knowing Mary as a volunteer at OVMC during the time I was the Director of Volunteer Services and then again as a resident and housemate of my mother Mary Eleanor Colvin during their stay at Elmhurst. Mary was a wonderful caring person who enriched the lives of hospital patients and the residents at Elmhurst. She will be missed by many
