Michael F. Epifano, 68, of Glen Dale, WV, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021.

He was born July 10, 1952, in Wheeling, WV, the son of the late Albert C. and Mary Jean (Truax) Epifano. Michael was a graduate of West Virginia University in Medical Technology and of Belmont Technical College in engineering. He worked as a foreman for the B&O Railroad, a Test Engineer in aerospace at TRW. INC, aerospace division, and also held a CDL license as a truck driver for a short period of time. He had a varied career and was well-liked by everyone he met. Michael enjoyed music and was an avid guitar player. He was a Christian and kept his faith foremost in his life.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three aunts, Lena DeGasperis, Helen Poulain and Nancy Johnson; three uncles, Herman DeGasperis, Frank Truax and Wilbert Poulain and one cousin, Nicky Conti.

Michael is survived by his sister, Rosetta Epifano and cousins, NancyCasalena, Anna Lee Borchers, Rudy Conti, Tommy Conti, Anna Rose Avery, Richard Johnson and Carol and Bruce Poulain.

Mike was a great guy. I shared this with a number of the JMHS ’70 folks that I still keep in touch with. All really liked Mike. Some of us remembered our ‘Morgantown days’ as well.
